2026 Cadillac OPTIQ Versions, Specs, and Trims Guide

A sleek orange SUV drives through a city street surrounded by tall buildings.

The 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ gives Ontario buyers five distinct trim paths to choose from, and the differences between them go well beyond badge and colour. Each level is tuned to a specific kind of driver — from those entering the Cadillac EV lineup for the first time to those who want every performance and comfort feature the OPTIQ has to offer. Knowing which trim aligns with your priorities before you step into the showroom saves time and helps you make a confident decision.

All five trims share the same 85 kWh battery and the same 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display with 9,000-resolution colour output. Every OPTIQ also comes standard with Super Cruise advanced driver assistance technology, the AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos, and a comprehensive suite of safety and driver assistance features. What changes as you move up the range is how much comfort, performance, and personalization you get.

OPTIQ Luxury: The Starting Point

The Luxury trim is the entry into the OPTIQ lineup, and it already arrives well equipped. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with dual motor all-wheel drive available for added traction — a practical choice for drivers navigating Windsor’s winter roads.

Key features on the Luxury trim:

  • 20-inch Pearl Nickel painted alloy wheels with aero inserts
  • 8-way power driver seat adjuster with driver memory and lumbar massage
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Heated driver and front passenger seats and heated steering wheel
  • 11.5 kW onboard charging (19.2 kW available)

OPTIQ Sport: Same Price, Different Personality

The Sport trim shares a starting price with the Luxury but makes different visual choices. It’s built for drivers who want a slightly more athletic look without paying more.

Key features unique to the Sport trim:

  • 20-inch Dark Android painted alloy wheels with aero inserts
  • High Gloss Black all-around door mouldings (vs. upper-only on Luxury)
  • Obsidian Chrome mirror caps and Gloss Black nameplates (with Onyx Package)
  • Front passenger power lumbar massage standard

OPTIQ Premium Luxury: Where Comfort Expands

Moving to the Premium Luxury trim brings a noticeable jump in interior refinement. The 19.2 kW onboard charger becomes standard, which shortens charging sessions and makes the OPTIQ more practical for daily use in and around Windsor.

  • Slim-line LED vertical headlamps and LED choreography-capable tail lamps
  • Head-Up Display standard
  • Ambient interior lighting throughout the cabin
  • Heated second-row outboard seats
  • Ventilated driver and front passenger seats
  • Power driver and front passenger massage
  • 8-way power adjustment for both front seats, plus driver and passenger memory

OPTIQ Premium Sport: Premium Luxury’s Athletic Sibling

The Premium Sport offers the same interior and technology package as the Premium Luxury but with Sport-style exterior detailing. If you want all the comfort upgrades and a bolder stance, this is the trim that delivers both.

Premium Sport shares all Premium Luxury features, and adds:

  • 20-inch Dark Android wheels with the option to upgrade to 21-inch bronze or gloss black alloys
  • High Gloss Black all-around door mouldings
  • Onyx Package availability for further exterior contrast

OPTIQ V-Series: Performance Above All

The V-Series trim is an entirely different vehicle in terms of how it drives. It uses a Performance Dual Motor AWD system as standard — no RWD option here — and is the only trim in the lineup with Brembo front performance brake calipers, Continuous Damping Control, and a Sport suspension tuned for sharper handling response.

The V-Series also delivers a Cadillac-estimated 519 hp and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque in Velocity Max mode, with a Cadillac-estimated 0–96 km/h time of 3.5 seconds in that same mode. Estimated range on a full charge is 447 km — slightly less than the other trims due to the performance drivetrain, but still well above most daily commute distances in Ontario.

Exterior details set the V-Series apart at a glance:

  • 21-inch 6-spoke Reverse Rim alloy wheels with Satin Graphite finish and laser-etched V-Series emblem
  • Unique front fascia with V-pattern mesh lower grille and high-gloss black front splitter
  • Available Exterior Carbon Fibre Package (front splitter, rear diffuser, rear mid-spoiler)
  • Available blue or red Brembo calipers, each accented with the V-Series logo

Inside, the V-Series adds power seatback and cushion bolster adjustment for both front seats, V-Series steering wheel, and available Santorini Blue Interior Package.
